To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing on behalf of Against AIDS, a charity group dedicated to raising money to donating money towards AIDS research. We are five students in tenth grade from Norway, who are doing this as part of the community and service program of our school. We are hoping to raise money for the organization AIDS Research, which researches AIDS to find cures and treatments. The organization also uses part of their budget on campaigns that teach people about the disease and how to prevent it.
We are seeking sponsors to help us raise money for this cause. All the money we raise will go towards the organization. Our group is working hard to raise money for the cause, and have begun several activities to help us. These activities include bake sales, donation projects and awareness campaign to bring awareness about the issue to our school community.
We have set a goal of $2,000 for fund raising. The organization AIDS Research, as previously stated, researches AIDS to fins cures. They have many awareness campaigns. They have a prevention center in Africa, where AIDS is a big issue. The vision of the organization is: “The communities we are of service to are free of HIV infections and those struck by the disease receive medical support. Our medical center works toward cures and treatments of AIDS. Treatments will be used in the communities we serve, and prevention centers will stay to secure the community.” Our goal is to raise the money by June 1st, 2012.
If you wish to see how our funds have been spent, we will happily send you a report after the date our goal will be done. In addition, if you wish your logo, as being a sponsor, included on our website (againstaids.example.com) or on our printed materials, please inform us and we would gladly do so.
